    Something is building in the heart of the city. We aren’t just rescue workers; we are architects of a new Detroit ecosystem. Whisker Rescue Inc is developing a first-of-its-kind, multi-sector initiative designed to stabilize our neighborhoods, protect our native wildlife, and provide a permanent sanctuary for the city's most vulnerable residents—human and animal alike. This project is a massive undertaking involving community partners, urban restoration, and a revolutionary approach to rehabilitation. We are keeping the details close to the chest for now, but the impact will be felt city-wide.     Our Mission

    At Whisker Rescue Inc,   

    our mission is to decrease the overpopulation of community cats through humane Trap-Neuter-Rehabilitate (TNR), rehome adoptable cats, provide first aid and care to community cats in need, and educate the public about the ecological footprint of community cats and practical ways the community can help.

    Our Vision

      

    We envision healthier neighborhoods where every cat is safe, cared for, and valued—with fewer cats living outdoors, stronger community partnerships, and ecosystems/environments protected through responsible, humane solutions.
